A SMALL BUSINESS LAW FIRM
FOR CREATIVES AND WEDDING PROS
(Because your lawyer should truly get what you do)
Weinberg Legal focuses on general representation for small businesses, wedding professionals, and creative entrepreneurs in New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Florida, Texas, and California.
Plain and simple: we know that when you’re looking for a lawyer for your small business, it’s often because you’re worried - and trying to protect your business. Maybe a client dispute has spun out of control, a new business venture has some risk associated with it, or a competitor copied and pasted your website copy.
Or maybe you’re not worried. Actually, you’re thrilled about the new business you’re planning to launch — you just need to make sure it’s in good legal standing. Or you’ve outgrown the contracts that you started out with and you’re ready to upgrade.
Whatever the scenario, when you start working with Weinberg Legal, we’re committed to helping you navigate it with a minimum of late nights and panicked emails. We’re in your corner, and we’ll provide a sympathetic ear along with candid, expert legal advice.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Leah Weinberg (she/her)
After working as an attorney for nearly a decade, I made a massive change and opened Color Pop Events, a wedding and event planning company in New York City. After 10 years, I was ready to move on from being a planner, but not from the wedding and events industry itself.
That’s when I decided to open Weinberg Legal to give wedding pros – and other small business owners and creative entrepreneurs – legal support from someone who truly gets their industry and knows what it’s like to have their own business.
LEAH HAS APPEARED ON STAGE AT:
“I had no idea how vulnerable I had left my business until I had Leah review my contract, and while I may as well have been walking into a legal battlefield in a bathrobe and fuzzy slippers before, now I feel completely impenetrable.
Not only is Leah extremely well versed in the ins and outs of small business law, she makes it a point to stay up to date with what's happening to entrepreneurs and trends in the industry so she's always one step ahead for her clients.”
